First Dawson Set by mrentertainment First Dawson Set by mrentertainment
About time I put more Family Feud artwork up. Here's the set the series first aired on July 12, 1976. When the show was picked up by ABC, Gene Wood replaced Johnny Olson as announcer. The names of the families are based on last names of characters from Saturday Morning Cartoons that aired on ABC at the time. Flint and Pooch belong to Sergeant Flint and Penrod Pooch (both from Hong Kong Phooey).

I don't own FF. All copyright material is owned by FremantleMedia, Mark Goodson, Bill Todman.

Credits also goes to wheelgenius for his 1976 family door template.

It was actually videotaped at the ABC Television Center in Hollywood, California. It didn't moved to CBS Television City until the Ray Combs version.
